Projects
We carry out pioneering national and international projects in consortia in which the Valladolid City Council is a key partner; European initiatives with a focus on decarbonization, sustainable mobility, urban renaturalization, adaptation to climate change, digital transformation, energy efficiency and circular economy, among other areas.
More than twenty innovation projects with European funding in recent years focused on sustainable development of Valladolid and, even more so, since the European Green Deal defines the roadmap of decarbonization, with people as protagonists and economic urban growth, social and environmental in the same balance.
The project focuses on the circular economy through interterritorial collaboration between Spain and Portugal. Three municipalities are working together with the aim of achieving common strategies for efficient resource management
Prospect CUBE busca reforzar las capacidades de las autoridades locales y regionales de la UE para llevar a cabo proyectos de energía sostenible a través de mecanismos de financiación innovadores. La experiencia de Valladolid servirá como guía de otras ciudades.

Citizen participation to improve public transport policies is one of the keys to this Interreg Europe project. It seeks that users contribute their vision for the design of a new sustainable mobility and that they change their routines and habits. All this in order to reduce the carbon footprint.
