Project for the 'Renovation of residential urban spaces towards almost zero energy cities', in which Valladolid has participated together with 6 other countries. The objective of the project, led by CARTIF, has been based on developing innovative technologies for energy saving and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
The project has been carried out over four years, it has been co-financed by the VII PM of the EU. The progress and results of the project can be consulted on its website.
CommONEnergy
This project has developed an energy efficiency model for shopping centers in Europe to facilitate the integration of control and energy management systems. Demonstrator pilot projects have been carried out in a former factory redesigned as a shopping center in Modena (Italy), a modern shopping center near Trondheim (Norway), and the Mercado del Val in Valladolid (Spain).
Storm Cloud
European initiative that has launched a series of digital public services of interest to the citizen. Online services have used virtualization technologies based on what is currently known as cloud or "cloud computing". It has been implemented in four municipalities as demonstrator cities: Manchester (Great Britain), Thessaloniki (Greece), Águeda (Portugal) and Valladolid (Spain).
Campus21
Development of a hardware/software platform for the integration of different ICT subsystems to support the energy management of buildings and public spaces. Demonstration spaces have been the campus of the "University College Cork" (Ireland), a multipurpose and sports stadium in Germany, and a sports center in Valladolid in Spain (Huerta del Rey Sports Center).
Livecity
The fundamental idea of this project has been based on the implementation and demonstration of services and applications in the field of electronic administration, citizen information and tourist information, all of them offered through high-quality real-time videoconference. The project has been developed in the cities of Dublin, Luxembourg, Vrilissia, Tuebingen and Valladolid.
CITyFIED
The European CITyFiED project, co-financed by the European Commission, has had the objective of developing an integrated strategy to create future sustainable and intelligent cities. A strategy focused on reducing energy demand and greenhouse gas emissions, along with increasing the use of renewable energy sources.
Heritage Labs
The project has focused on strengthening the capacities of Indian cultural agents and facilitating an environment that favors creativity, innovation, professionalization and the generation of companies in the field of cultural heritage management in Gujarat.
Intellycity
Open Data platform that makes all the information generated by the city available to citizens, companies and Public Administrations.
Recarga VYP
It began its activity in June 2012 and has its origins in the VyP Recharge pilot project developed by the Junta de Castilla y León in the municipalities of Palencia and Valladolid together with Iberdrola. The project has generated a network of charging points in Valladolid for public use and another of its objectives has been to detect the habits of future consumers and disseminate the advantages of electric mobility among potential users.
Blue Parking
It has developed a system that allows finding out where there are free parking spaces in the Valladolid regulated parking area (ORA), and paying for this parking through mobile devices.
Throughout 2013, the CIDAUT Technological Center and the Valladolid City Council developed a pilot project that allowed the implementation of this system in the city.
