The Valladolid and Castilla y León Digital Content Hub aims to promote entrepreneurship and generate a consolidated ecosystem around video games, virtual reality and audiovisual production.
It is promoted by the Valladolid Innovation and Smart City Plan (SmartVA! Plan), which includes among its axes the municipal strategy to boost the local digital ecosystem and thus lay the foundations of a digital content hotspot.
Supporting and giving visibility to local production with national and international recognition is one of the lines of action that drives the Hub, hence the collaboration agreement with the Valladolid company Pentakill Studios S.L., which is developing the video game ‘The Occultist’ at the Agency for Innovation and Economic Development of Valladolid, which has received great recognition in the sector.
Digital arts and video games
The focus is on the creation of digital arts and video games and on promoting programming at an early age, offering training in competitive excellence, retaining and attracting talent to the city of Valladolid and enabling the training of citizens in digital skills.
